Matthew Laymon originally hails from the great state of Tennessee. He graduated from Rhodes College in 2005 where he played baseball and earned a degree in history. When he realized the Atlanta Braves were not part of his future, Matt decided to enroll in Cumberland Law School where he graduated in 2009.
Before he joined Webster Henry, Matt was a personal injury lawyer and represented clients in automobile accidents, wrongful death cases, and other injury cases. He also has experience in the criminal world as a former Baldwin County District Attorney. Matt was the original prosecutor in Baldwin County Veterans Court, a non-adversarial venue dedicated to helping local veterans dealing with difficult legal issues.
Matt’s current practice is primarily representing defendants in automobile accidents in Mobile, Alabama. When he is not working he likes to play tennis with his daughter and go hiking.
